Oh Julieeeee!

The heading?? well those who remember me from the first Bathurst Blog meet, I had Mum with me, and she was forever reprimanding me for my comments with "Oh Julieeee!"
Unfortunately, Mum won't be coming this time, as she has very bad dementia and is now in permanent care at a nursing home here in Dungog.
So, let me introduce myself to the many who have not met me...
I "just" became a "Senior Citizen" (turned 60) and I never did act my age and still don't!  I married for the second time 2 years ago to a wonderful country man (Bruce), who is the complete opposite to me.  We live in Hicksville Dungog (1.5 hours north west of Newcastle) which is a small town that was once a timber town, then a dairy town, now more beef cattle and tourism.  We own a 17 acre property "just" out of town.  We have 4 Hereford steers and a dog. Bruce has a very green thumb and keeps a wonderful vege garden, rose & flower garden and some fruit trees.

I have one daughter (from my first marriage) who has given me 2 grandchildren (Jordarna 13 & Diesel 9).  They live in Toowoomba and we get to see each other about 5 times a year.
I own a Gammill Long Arm Quilting Machine, and quilt for whoever sends me a quilt, plus make my own quilts and items, which I sell thru Facebook (the "dark side" as Chooky calls it), I have a stall at Quiltarama and I have a sale just before Christmas when I hire the CWA Hall and hang all my quilts for sale.  I do have a blog (http://jewells58.blogspot.com.au), however I don't keep it up to date as much as I use to.
The past few years, I have been making children's THICK WARM WINTER PYJAMAS, and I will be bringing them with me to sell on the "Trade Table".. great  for all your grandkids???
Sizes 1 & 2 = $7 each
Sizes 4 & 6 = $10 each
Don't forget, if you want me to quilt something for you, bring it with you and I will take it home with me.  I have quilted for Chooky, Cheryll (Dory), Peg & Dale to name a few..

See you REAL soon.. I am travelling with Diddles & Lea!
